Our Firm
Investment Philosophy
We start off with our ‘Investment Philosophy'. This sounds a bit grand, but in essence, what we believe about Investment directly affects the advice we give you, so it is important you understand what our beliefs are.
Investment Beliefs
• We believe in Asset Allocation. This is a method of building a diversified investment portfolio to provide the optimum return for the lowest risk in line with a client's individual goals and tolerances
• We believe that investment risk or volatility should be linked to the personal and financial lifestyle needs of our clients
• We believe that our clients need exposure to a variety of Asset Classes (such as Equities and Property), and so we will seek out ‘Multi Asset' investment opportunities where appropriate
• We believe there are some opportunities for growth available in ‘Alternative' asset classes and investment opportunities
• We believe that Tax Planning is a critical part of the Advice process, and adds value to clients
A transparent fee-based approach to charges.
We distinguish between giving financial advice and effecting investment transactions. Having received financial advice from us, clients are under no obligation to effect any transactions. Our fees take account of the time spent, or likely to be spent, in carrying out the work, the complexity of the work, the skills of the person doing it, and our liabilities and regulatory obligations in respect of the work.
